Are you new to dairy goats? Check out our "Goat Glossary" page to learn more about what the SG, *M, and LA mean!
A note about our herd in Fall 2023: Due to family health issues, we are retiring a few of our older milkers early (Elan, Gloria and Holiday). We are also milking a couple of our does through the winter without breeding them. We want to have room to freshen our younger does.
SG Mountaindell WRN Elan 2*M
DOB: 3/23/2014 Sire: SG Wind Ridge Napoli +*B Elite Sire Dam: Ravens View Farms Amelia *M LA: 09-03 89 VEEV; 05-02 91 EEEE; 04-03 90 VEEE; 03-02 89 VEEV; 02-5 87 VVVE DNA: Alpha s1 Casein: F/F Elan is an elegant ten-year-old. She has beautiful strength of bone, dairy character, and body capacity. Her production peaked at 2 gallons per day. Her teats are a bit large, but she is easy to hand milk. We are very pleased with the kids she has given us and have several of her grandkids in our herd. In 2019, her daughter, Lexus, was a Grand Champion Junior Alpine at the NWODGA show and placed 6th in her class at Nationals. (See Show Results page.) Elan earned 2 champion legs in 2019. In 2020 Elan had triplet buck kids, one of whom (Montecristo) we retained as a buck and who earned a place on ADGA's Young Sire Development List. She had triplets again in 2021 and twins in 2022. Elan is now retired. We have retained one of her buck kids from 2022: Porthos. |
SG Mountaindell SWE Gloria 3*M
DOB: 2/17/2015 Sire: Sequoia Wood YJ Everest +*B Dam: SG Mountaindell Delilah 2*M LA: 08-04 88 VEEV; 04-03 90 VVEE; 03-05 89 VEEV; 02-03 89 VVVE DNA: Alpha s1 Casein: E/E Gloria is Sarah's doe. Her dam, Delilah, died suddenly when she was three months old, and she was adopted by her grandma, Cabela. As a two-year-old, Gloria was Reserve Champion Senior Alpine at the 2017 NWODGA Show. She is a beautiful nine-year-old with a productive udder and a very sweet personality. Gloria placed 8th in her large class at the 2019 ADGA Nationals in Redmond, OR. Her 2018 buck kid, Kendric, qualified for the 2019 ADGA Young Sire Development Program. She milked through 2020 and freshened 11/18/21 with a healthy set of quadruplets. In January, 2023, she freshened slightly early with triplets, but the two doe kids were stillborn. Gloria is now retired. |

SG Mountaindell Everlasting Joy 4*M
DOB: 2/28/17 Sire: GCH Colquitt's Andretti ++*B Dam: SG Mountaindell SWE Gloria 3*M LA: 06-04 89 VEEE; 04-06 90 VEEE; 02-03 88 +V+E; 01-04 87 VVVE DNA: Alpha s1 Casein: E/E Joy was a single kid and grew very well, so she was bred as a yearling. She freshened with an udder that is well-attached and perfectly shaped, and is also easy to milk! Joy had singles the first two times she freshened, but made up for them by having triplets in 2020 and in 2021, followed by quads in 2023! We have retained two of her daughters (Novela and Pandora). 2024: Twins from Capellini born 2/27/24: a cou blanc doe kid and a very nice chamoise buck kid--for sale! |
Mountaindell MG Kiwanda 4*M
DOB: 3/31/2018 Sire: Mountaindell SWE Gabriel +*B Dam: Mountaindell CA Grazia 3*M LA: 03-05 86 +EVV DNA on File (Alpha s1 Casein: E/01) Kiwanda is a friendly doe with interesting potential in light of her Alpha s1 Casein DNA test. If she is bred to a buck carrying the 01 (null) gene, her offspring might not produce the alpha s1 casein protein, which would be very beneficial for certain people with milk sensitivities. Kiwanda is a beautiful doe with an easy-going personality. Her udder is very easy to milk and she has good production. She is my favorite doe for keeping house milk. Photo taken August, 2020--she needs a new one that shows her maturity and depth of body. Kiwanda was dry in 2023 and did not get appraised. 2024: Twin doe kids born 2/19/24; one available |
Mountaindell MAJ Lexus 3*M
DOB: 1/13/19 Sire: Mountaindell Andretti Jura +*B Dam: SG Mountaindell WRN Elan 2*M LA: 04-05 90 EVVE; 02-07 87 VVVV Alpha s1 Casein: E/F (by pedigree) Lexus was a Grand Champion Junior Alpine at the 2019 NWODGA show. She placed 6 in a large intermediate kid class at the 2019 ADGA National Show in Redmond. Lexus freshened May 31, 2020, with twins and a nicely-shaped udder. She looks a lot like her beautiful dam, Elan, but has narrower, more correct teats. (Photo of her in August, 2021.) Lexus milked through 2021. She freshened in February, 2022, with a capacious udder. She lost her kid during birth but adopted a Boer kid and let him nurse. In 2023, she freshened with triplets and we retained the doe kid, Riviera. 2024: Was bred to Capellini and due 4/4/24. Unfortunately, Lexus lost her pregnancy, but I noticed her yearling daughter nursing on her in April and so began milking her again. She isn't producing her normal amount, but is no longer dry. |
Mountaindell MAJ Leandra 3*M
***SOLD*** DOB: 1/10/19 Sire: Mountaindell Andretti Jura +*B Dam: SG Mountaindell BC's Holiday 2*M LA: 04-05 87 VVVV; 02-07 86 +VVV Alpha s1 Casein: E/F Leandra is tall and looks a lot like her dam, Holiday. She placed 7 in a large kid class at the 2019 ADGA National Show in Redmond. Leandra first freshened in March, 2021, with two beautiful cou blanc doe kids, one of whom we have retained (Nolana). Leandra has a beautiful, capacious udder with a soft texture that is easy to milk. We regretfully are sold her to make room in our herd for younger does but are keeping both her 2023 kids. 2023: Twins from Capellini born 4/14/23; buck and doe. We are keeping Riella and Rafaello! |
Mountaindell Levity 4*M
DOB: 3/16/19 Sire: Bearly Glasgow Ohakune *B Dam: SG Mountaindell ME Jacali 3*M LA: 02-05 86 +VVVV Alpha s1 Casein: B/F Levity was a happy kid who loved to jump and climb (thus, her name). Now five, she has become a productive doe in our herd. She looks a lot like her lovely dam. Levity freshened for the first time 3/31/21 with a very well-attached udder with wonderful texture. I love the extension of her foreudder and her length of body. She had triplet doe kids 3/9/22 and triplets again 2/28/24. She was dry in 2023 and did not get appraised. 2024: Triplets born 2/28/24; one doe kid available. |
Mountaindell BGO Manzanita
(5*M pending from 2023) DOB: 5/1/20 Sire: Bearly Glasgow Ohakune *B Dam: Mountaindell MG Kiwanda 4*M LA: 03-01 85 VVVV DNA on File (Alpha s1 Casein: 01/01) Manzanita is a chamoisee doe who will not produce any Alpha s1 Casein. This might be very helpful for those with milk sensitivities. She freshened easily in 2022 with a single kid. Manzie is well put together and has a nicely shaped udder that is easy to milk. She is not a big producer, which could be related to her Alpha s1 Casein status, as the other members of her family have good production. She had twins in 2023. 2024: Twin bucks born 3/13/24. |
Mountaindell BGO Nesika
(5*M pending from 2023) DOB: 3/26/21 Sire: Bearly Glasgow Ohakune *B Dam: Mountaindell MG Kiwanda 4*M LA: 02-03 86 VVVV DNA: Alpha s1 Casein: B/E Nesika is a beautiful sundgau doe. We were hoping she would inherit low casein like her full sister from 2020, Manzanita, but she tested high instead! She is easy to milk with a soft, pliable udder. I considered placing this productive doe for sale to make room for younger does, but I changed my mind and kept her. She has qualified for her milk star and is still milking strong. 2022: Had triplets 11/19/22 out of D'Artagnan. Retaining her daughter, Ophir, (the buck kids sold for pack goats). 2024: Extended lactation. |
Mountaindell MBM Nolana
(4*M pending from 2023) DOB: 3/6/21 Sire: Mountaindell Bravo Montecristo *B Dam: Mountaindell MAJ Leandra 3*M LA: 02-03 84 VVVG DNA: Alpha s1 Casein: F/F Nolana is a beautiful young doe who has lots of length and width. She looks a lot like her dam and granddam and should be great producer as well. She freshened with a nicely formed and attached udder 3/31/23. 2024: Bred to Capellini; due 4/11/24. |
Mountaindell TAD Novela
DOB: 3/30/21 Sire: Tempo Aquila TFE D'Artagnan *B Dam: SG Mountaindell Everlasting Joy 4*M LA: 02-02 85 VVVV DNA: Alpha s1 Casein: E/E (by pedigree) We love this lovely chamoisee first freshener! She has an amazing pedigree and a very laid back personality. She was also the 2022 Washington County Fair Reserve Champion Junior Alpine. Novela is a beautiful girl, but her production is underwhelming, especially for a doe who produced triplets! We are milking her through the winter and will give her another chance to freshen next year and hope she produces more milk. 2023: Triplets out of Capellini born 5/15/23. Milking through in 2024. |
Mountaindell TAD Panache
DOB: 11/18/22 Sire: Tempo Aquila TFE D'Artagnan *B Dam: SG Mountaindell WRN Elan 2*M DNA: Alpha s1 Casein: E/F (by pedigree) Panache freshened easily with twins on 2/28/24. Her udder has a wonderful texture and we look forward to seeing her mature. She has good manners on the milk stand and is easy to milk. 2024: Twins born 2/28/24 to Capellini (buck and doe). |

(This photo was taken in December, 2022 at a few weeks of age). Ophir freshened easily with a single kid 2/25/24. She has good manners on the milk stand and is easy to milk. 2024: Single buck kid on 2/25/24 to Capellini. |
Mountaindell TAD Pandora
DOB: 3/7/22 Sire: Tempo Aquila TFE D'Artagnan *B Dam: SG Mountaindell Everlasting Joy 4*M DNA: Alpha s1 Casein: E/E (by pedigree) This doe looks like someone spilled a can of white paint on her and missed her head and a couple spots--we've never had an Alpine born with coloring like hers before! Pandora has nice width and strength of bone. She had triplets easily on 4/11/24 and is producing well. She has good manners on the milk stand and is easy to milk. 2024: Triplets born 4/11/24 out of Capellini |
