Bearly Capellini
***DECEASED*** DOB: 3/27/21 Sire: Bearly Royal Regent Dam: SG Bearly Tokajsky Fettuci 2*M LA: 02-03 85 VVE DNA on File (Alpha s1 Casein: F/01) We purchased Capellini from Ben Rupchis in August, 2022, hoping he will bring in more low casein genetics as well as strengthen our herd. His beautiful dam, SG Early Tokajsky Fettuci 2*M, is also pictured (as a 3 year old). Fettuci appraised EX 92 EEEE at age 04-08 and is an amazing milk producer (she has milked over 4,000 pounds in two of her lactations). Fettuci brings in many fine Tempo goats: Handyman, Yukon Jack, Fettuccini. Capellini's sire, Regent, brings in some wonderful older genetics, especially through his sire: SG Shahena'ko Crown Royal ++*B. Nodaway, Sunshine, Tangleroot... so many legendary herds in this pedigree! Many of these are already in our herd (several generations back), so I think Capellini will tie in nicely with the does we already have. 2023 National Show news: Capellini's junior get-of-sire placed first in a large class! In December 2023 we put Capellini down due to an infection, but all of our 2024 Alpine kids were sired by him. |
Bearly Glasgow Okahune *B
***FOR SALE*** DOB: 5/2/2018 Sire: Bearly Alakai Glasgow *B Elite Sire Dam: SG Bearly Emmerich Turtle Bay 4*M LA: 05-01 90 EVE; 03-03 83 +V+; 01-00 81 +++ DNA on File (Alpha s1 Casein: B/01) We are thankful to Ben and Rebekah Rupchis for breeding and selling this buck to us! "Oak" is an nice chamoise buck with a great disposition. His sire, Glasgow, has been used in the Tempo herd. His grandsire, SGCH Bearly Emperor Alakai +*B, is on the Elite Sire list. Oak's dam, Turtle, is a lovely doe who appraised 90VEEE. Oak was a gangly, awkward yearling (who appraised poorly), but he has matured nicely. We are pleased with his kids and have retained a few of them. Our favorite daughter of his is Levity, who has solid, smooth udder attachments and good production. We have also kept daughters out of Oak and Kiwanda and are happy with them. As a five year old, Oak appraised Excellent! The appraiser commented that the only fault he saw with him is a steep rump. We have used Oak for several years and would like to see him moved to a new herd. Oak has been leased to 3 select herds and has always returned with compliments of what a gentleman he is! He does have a pesky scur that needs cut back annually or it grows into his head. Oak is available for sale or for outside breedings. (Photo taken at 5 years old.) |

Mountaindell TAD Porthos *B
DOB: 11/18/22 Sire: Tempo Aquila TFE D'Artagnan *B Dam: SG Mountaindell WRN Elan 2*M DNA on File (Alpha s1 Casein: E/F) This buck kid is wide and correct and is perhaps the nicest buck we have bred! He has grown very quickly, and weighed almost 90 pounds at 4 months old. We are very excited about him. He is a lavender (dilute color), so approximately half of his kids will not have true black color. (Photo was taken at 3 months, when we weaned him.) Porthos was on an extended lease in Washington until January, 2024. |

His dam, Leandra, is from a doe line with consistently good type and heavy milk production. Leandra's FF daughter Nolana is a beautiful doe who is milking well. We are confident this guy will offer solid conformation and milk production! And, like our other bucks, he is easy to work with. |

***SOLD*** DOB: 5/20/16 Sire: Tempo Aquila Free Enough +*B Dam: SGCH Tempo Aquila Mazzei 6*M DNA on File (Alpha s1 Casein: E/E) LA: 05-03 88 VEV We are thrilled to have just purchased this buck from Lori Townsend! D'Art's dam, Mazzei, is an amazing doe who appraised 4-6 FS93 EEEE, earned the High Individual Total Performer Award at the 2019 and 2021 ADGA National Shows, and has earned multiple Best of Breed, Best Udder in Show and Best in Show awards. Her sire, Free Enough, is out of SGCH Tempo Aquila Living Free *M, who appraised 6-3 FS95 EEEE and was the 2015 ADGA National Champion & Best Udder winner. Mazzei's grandsire is SG+*B Redwood Hills Jaeger, Elite Sire, who happens to be the sire of one of our foundation sires (Wind Ridge Napoli +*B, Elite Sire). D'Art is a large, tall buck who is very handsome. We used him extensively in our herd and then sold him in 2022. We will have a few young does available from him in 2023-2024. |
Mountaindell Bravo Montecristo*B
***SOLD*** ADGA Young Sire Development Program Q2 2020 DOB: 2/10/20 Sire: SG Mountaindell Tango Bravo +*B Dam: SG Mountaindell WRN Elan 2*M DNA on File (Alpha s1 Casein: E/F) We were excited to learn that Monte was on the ADGA Young Sire Development List! This beautiful cou blanc buck kid is long and tall, with great width through his escutcheon and rear legs. Unfortunately, he is too related to the goats in our herd to keep, so we are offering him for sale. His sire and dam have both appraised Excellent and his dam peaks at over 2 gallons of milk a day. He has a deep pedigree of good type and production. Monte was a bottle baby; he is exceptionally friendly and easy to manage. (Photo taken as a kid). Monte has been sold. We retained his daughter, Nolana. |
